Judith completed a Masters of Science in Marital and Family Therapy from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology in Pasadena, CA, and a Bachelors of Science in Human Development and Psychological Services from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LH60369356) in the state of Washington.  She has been practicing therapy for over ten years and finds it an absolute privilege to walk alongside those who are courageous enough to show up and do the messy and often hard work required in bettering our lives and relationships.

She is trained in various therapeutic techniques and methods including Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Mindfulness Based Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and attachment-based therapy.  She is a certified Family Wellness instructor, PREPARE Premarital assessment facilitator and MarriageStrong group teacher.

She regularly teaches seminars, classes and workshops across the Seattle area, including Hold Me Tight Marriage/Couples workshops.  She has had the opportunity to speak at various engagements across the country and has also had the privilege of being a part of the adjunct teaching team for the Department of Marriage and Family Therapy at Seattle Pacific University’s Graduate School of Psychology, Family and Community.

Judith wholeheartedly believes in the capacity of people to change, grow, and move towards greater healing -no matter the current situation or past experience- as she is privileged to witness this week in and week out.

She lives in the Seattle area with her partner, child, and rambunctious, yet hopelessly lovable french bulldog mix, Molly.
